Topographic Mapping
Often used in CAD and GIS applications, this form of mapping utilizes digital files composed of layers of information representing a variety of terrain and surface features. Depending on the elevation at which the photography is flown, natural and man-made features can be measured to within a 10cm accuracy.
DTMs for Volumes & Cross-Section
ATLIS has been performing in-house volumetric calculations and cross-sections for over 15 years. Using DTMs in specialized software, we can calculate cut & fill quantities using cross-section method (Average-End) or are a DTM to DTM comparison method. Whether it&'s verifying monthly “fill” comparisons for a landfill, or reporting on stockpile inventory, ATLIS can assist you on your next volumetric project.
